I. Pre-Exhibition Preparation: Efficient Planning is Key

1. Obtaining Exhibition Information

Pre-Register via Official Channels: Please register in advance via the official channel: https://www.cifffurniturefair.com/the-57th-china-international-furniture-fair-guangzhou/ Pre-registration saves queuing time on site.

Venue and Map: The exhibition takes place at the Canton Fair Complex (Pazhou) in Guangzhou. As the 2026 CIFF is massive, you must download the Exhibition Hall Floor Plan from the official website in advance. Based on your procurement goals, mark down the key halls and booth numbers you wish to visit. Then, plan the most efficient visiting route based on the hall locations to avoid unnecessary back-and-forth travel.

Pre-Arranged Meetings: If you have specific brands you are interested in, you can arrange a meeting time with them in advance. We welcome you to join our Business Matching Program early to obtain the target exhibitors’ phone numbers and email addresses: https://www.cifffurniturefair.com/business-matching/

This program is divided into two parts:

MATCHING CLICK 2 CONNECT

Click 2 Connect serves as a digital bridge, leveraging online platforms to facilitate efficient pre-show and in-show interactions. It allows exhibitors and buyers to discover potential partners based on specific needs, such as product categories, business scales, or market focuses, through intelligent matching algorithms.

MATCHING MEET 2 MATCH

CIFF “Meet 2 Match” refers to the IBC Matching service offered by the China International Furniture Fair (CIFF) to connect international buyers with exhibitors. It’s a precision matching project aimed at facilitating business connections during the CIFF Guangzhou event. “Meet 2 Match” is part of CIFF’s broader initiative to enhance the experience for international buyers by offering targeted introductions and facilitating business opportunities.

3. Preparing Essentials (Essentials)

Prepare enough business cards in both Chinese and English (at least 200). As some brands also prefer exchanging e-business cards, it is recommended to have a digital version ready on your phone.

Bring a notebook, pen, and a phone or camera. Your phone can be used to photograph product details, booth numbers, and business cards; please politely ask the exhibitor for permission before taking photos.

Attending the exhibition consumes a significant amount of time and physical energy, so please be sure to bring a power bank and comfortable shoes—these are very important.

II. On-Site at the Exhibition: How to Communicate and Screen Efficiently

1. Rapid Exhibitor Screening:

The “Three Questions” Opener: When communicating with an exhibitor, directly ask for key information:

“What are your company’s main featured/best-selling products?”

“What is the approximate price range for this product?”

“What is the MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) for this product?”

2. In-depth Communication Skills (In-depth Negotiation)

Ask professional questions, such as those related to materials, process standards, and delivery lead times. Then, ask for their product catalog, quotation sheet, and company profile.

Furthermore, unless it is a special offer, do not make a final purchasing decision at the booth. Inform the exhibitor that you will review the information and contact them afterward.

3. Recording and Classification (Systematic Recording)

For every interesting exhibitor/product, record the booth number/company name, key product photos (with item numbers), price range, MOQ, delivery lead time, and personal notes/follow-up priorities. Using a mobile app on-site for recording can be more efficient than using paper and pen.
