CEO, The Designers Institute of New Zealand
In New Zealand, it’s hard for me to imagine an industry event of this scale. CIFF Guangzhou not only showcased the explosive creativity of Chinese design but also made me realize that design is a universal language—one we must use to engage with the broader world. One particular innovation that left a deep impression on me was a wall material combining bamboo fiber with recycled ceramics. This kind of innovation not only aligns with sustainable trends but also retains the essence of Eastern aesthetics, precisely the kind of solution that the global market needs.
