Cathy Veninga CEO, The Designers Institute of New Zealand

In New Zealand, it's hard for me to imagine an industry event of this scale. CIFF Guangzhou not only showcased the explosive creativity of Chinese design but also made me realize that design is a universal language—one we must use to engage with the broader world. One particular innovation that left a deep impression on me was a wall material combining bamboo fiber with recycled ceramics. This kind of innovation not only aligns with sustainable trends but also retains the essence of Eastern aesthetics, precisely the kind of solution that the global market needs.

Maria Mbuzenko, Founder of Continent Russia, Russian Furniture Trading Company

My first impression of CIFF was "vast and diverse" - with numerous exhibition halls and a great gathering of suppliers, the sheer scale of the event and its International participation left a deep impression on me. This exhibition truly opened my eyes to two groundbreaking highlights: compressible packaging technology and smart home furnishing integration systems. These innovations particularly impressed me as such products remain virtually untapped in the Russian market, presenting tremendous potential that perfectly aligns with younger consumers' growing demand for convenience-oriented solutions. Chinese brands are undergoing a remarkable transformation from "low-cost OEM" to "original design explorers," a shift that is becoming increasingly prominent in the global market.

Zhao Xi, Design Director, DH Design Ltd & Chief Consultant, CSID

CIFF is not merely a platform for product display, but a vital hub fostering global design culture exchange and business collaboration. Through in-depth interactions with domestic and international designers, brands, and manufacturers, I've witnessed the remarkable ascent of China's home design industry—radiating unprecedented vitality and creativity. As an industry bellwether, CIFF provides designers with invaluable opportunities to gauge market demands and identify emerging trends. The eco-conscious design and smart home furnishing solutions displayed on this exhibition has particularly inspired my anticipation for the future trajectory of home design.

CIFF Guangzhou left an extraordinary impression on me—it has truly evolved into a world-class industry event comparable to the Milan and Paris furniture fairs, absolutely worth visiting. Here, numerous young designers present innovative products incorporating advanced materials, cutting-edge functionalities and fresh creativity, while achieving a remarkable fusion of Eastern and Western design philosophies. Beyond sourcing desirable furniture, visitors can fairly gain tremendous inspiration, making the experience utterly rewarding.

Our participation in CIFF Guangzhou aimed to understand future development trends, design directions, and new material applications in the home furnishing industry. Through this visiting, we observed that home design styles are becoming increasingly diverse, with international home design gaining a stronger competitive edge in the market and demonstrating more prominent growth. Additionally, we successfully established partnerships with several brands of interest.

Ewoud Overduin, Chairman, Hartman Enterprises

The exhibition atmosphere at CIFF radiates both creativity and vitality, while maintaining a refreshingly relaxed environment that fosters open communication among participants. Here, I've had the privilege of experiencing breathtaking designs up close — particularly in fabric and material applications — where China's remarkable design progress is palpably evident.
